Shahzaadee (aka Shelley) is an multi-faceted entertainer and artist. Her childhood studies began in modern jazz dance styles but she fell in love when she discovered World folk dance styles in the late 80’s. She specializes in Middle Eastern bellydance, and polynesian styles such as Hawaiian hula and Tahitian dance. In addition, she also does character appearances as Shelley Opearls NC Mermaid. She is the owner and operator of Colorful Waves, currently based in Durham NC. She's shared her love of dance through performing and instructing since the 90's. Amara is a professional bellydancer, mermaid entertainer, and photographer in the Cary/Apex area. She was introduced to bellydancing in 2002 and immediately fell in love. She is known for her expressive style and using the music to tell a story through her dance. She enjoys dancing to all types of music but prefers dancing improv to live music. She often dances with props such as Wings of Isis, sword, and veil. She also has a variety of fire props such as fire fans, palm torches, and a fire hip belt. She began dancing for fitness, but soon realized how empowering it was. She has studied with many local and international instructors and also attends various workshops as a way to improve her skills. Her passion and love for the artform is seen through her dance. As professional photographer and visual artist and finds that creativity helps inspire her dancing. Hiya-Sahra enjoys many different styles of world dance. She is an accomplished “Miami Style” Salsa dancer and an Afro-Cuban Drummer. She was a member of Colorful Waves Belly Dance Troupe from 2006 through 2011. Since that time, her passion and love of dance has led her to explore and enjoy many other forms of dance including: Polynesian Dance, Folk Dance, Hoop Dance, Contra and English Country Dance.

Mila Napoli discovered belly dance in 1999 and has performed as a soloist and with several local troupes throughout the years. During the last decade she has also enjoyed learning and performing other forms of dance such as African, Polynesian and Indian dance. Her passion for belly dance led her to the Suhaila Salimpour School of Belly Dance, where she has been a dedicated student since 2011, and in which she is currently pursuing higher levels of certifications in the Suhaila format and the Jamila stylization. She currently lives in Chapel Hill, NC.

Lifetime, professional musician, primarily rock guitar and frontman/lead vocals, Steve has the snappy wit and fun-loving attitude to make sure everyone plays along with the spirit of the show he is narrating.
